  • Professor Craighead was organ professor and head of the organ department at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, from 1955-1992. Many of today’s foremost teachers, church musicians and recitalists were his students. On May 22, 2006, Professor Craighead will be honored during a gala evening recital and reception benefiting the American Guild of Organists Endowment Fund, held at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill (8855 Germantown Avenue) in Philadelphia.
