Dobson Organbuilders of Lake City, Iowa, created this 4-manual, 105-rank instrument as their Opus 75. Ms. Rhodes was recorded in concert by engineer Françoise Villancourt on November 22, 2003 during the instrument’s inaugural season. Her performance has since been released by Delos Records (CD-3346). Two additional compact discs featuring the new Dobson organ, played by resident musician Samuel S. Soria, are also available from Delos Records (CD-3331 and CD-3343).
