Mailbag: “The healing power of the pipe organ…”

Dear Michael,

This is not a question but a note of thanks. Before MS knocked her off the bench, my wife, Jane, was a gifted church organist. She received her masters in Organ Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa while Dr. Disselhorst was chairman of the Organ Department. Lovely man! Jane has been in a nursing home for the past seven years. We have a small private room and a fine sound system. I have my laptop hooked up to the receiver and I can't tell you how much pleasure both of us have had accessing not only the current program but the wealth of archived programs. It is a continuing gift to Jane and is greatly appreciated.
