Mailbag: “More Wurlitzer?”

Dear Michael,

Why don't you feature more Wurlitzer organs on your show? I have been a fan of their distinctive sound for my whole life. We even have quite a grand one here in El Paso. You should come and see it and the historic theater, especially when it...No, You'll just have to see for yourself.

PIPEDREAMS attempts to embrace the entire organ experience. Theatre organs, fun as they may be, represent a small blip in the overall continuity of the pipe organ's history. I'll continue to include them, with pleasure, but not likely in any greater percentage than at present.
