Mailbag: “Slimming Down”

Dear Michael,

In regards to the Carol, Hark!, the herald angels sing on program #0749, you omit the 2nd stanza so gracefully without audible
notice. Also the word order of the last stanza is pleasently different than that of many hymnals. I am a new listener of pipedreams and very much enjoy the program.

I needed to trim the overall length of the content to fit into my total program time…so a few hymn verses ‘bit the dust’. I tried to do it in subtle manner.
