Dear Michael,

I listened to the Fisk at Fuhrman and the Concertato by Ferguson When the Morningstars Together. What is the name of the hymn tune for that piece?

Dear Curt,

I asked John Ferguson, composer of the Concertato on When the Morningstars Together. Here’s his response:

“Actually When the Morningstars Together comes from the Presbyterian Hymnal. The tune is a German one - WEISSE FLAGGEN, composer unknown, source a German hymnal from Cologne, 1741.”

So, there you have it.
