Recordings were made by Michael Barone during the 2014 East Texas Pipe Organ Festival (November 9-14, 2014). A CD sampler of Barone’s recordings from the 2012 Festival and a full concert by Ken Cowan, guest recitalist again in 2015, are available from the Festival Office in Kilgore.

The next Festival takes place November 8–12, 2015, and you are invited to join Michael Barone and the happy throng in East Texas!

[1st Presbyterian Church, Kilgore]

*It is the en chamade (horizontal) trumpet rank at 1st Presbyterian Church, Kilgore, reputedly the first-such stop installed on an organ in the United States (1949). This picture was used heavily in Aeolian-Skinner promotions, including on the albums of the company's King of Instruments LP series, coveted items in any organ-lover’s collection in the mid 20th century (and still!).
