Biography
Wilma Hoyle Jensen retired from Saint George’s Episcopal Church, Nashville, Tennesssee, in May 2002 after nineteen years as Organist/Choirmaster. A reknowned organist, she has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Mrs. Jensen received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Eastman School of Music, studying organ with Catharine Crozier and Harold Gleason. She has served on the faculties of Indiana University, Bloomington; the Scarritt Graduate School, Nashville; Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City; and the Blair School of Music of Vanderbilt University, teaching Organ and Church music.

On May 5, 2002, a number of Mrs. Jensen’s former organ students and former choir members returned from across the country to Saint George’s to play and sing in a special tribute concert.
