The organ at St. Mark's was the first instrument that Michael Barone ventured out to record in his early days at Minnesota Public Radio in Collegeville, years before the initiation of PIPEDREAMS. Enjoy its sound from years ago in these archive performances recorded on February 24, 1970 by the late Twin Cities organist Paul Emch. Recording was made using an Ampex analog tape machine (with DMS–Ampria custom electronics) running at 15IPS, no Dolby, using an AKG C–24 coincident stereo microphone.
