1913 Welte Wotan brass band orchestrion

With 453 pipes, orchestra bells, bass drum, cymbal, traingle, typani effect, two snare drums and eleven automatic registers, this is one of the largest orchestrions in the world. It originally provided music for the immense Bob-Lo Island roller skating rink, located in a building that was previously a dirigible hangar. Photo: Leslie Schwartz.
